6 Fun and Simple Kids’ Room Decorations to Spark Creativity

1. Floating Planets
What you’ll need:
- Polystyrene spheres of different sizes
- Paints in various colors and brushes
- Fishing line
How to it:
- Paint the spheres with colors imitating the shades of the different planets in the solar system.
- Using a needle, thread each sphere with fishing line.
- Decide a corner of the room and hang the floating planets.
2. Cloud Pillow
What you’ll need:
- White fabric
- Cushion filling
- Colored felt
How to do it:
- Fold the fabric in two parts and cut it in the shape of a cloud.
- Sew or glue the edges of both sides, leaving a small space to introduce the filling.
- Fill the cloud with the cushion filling and close its edges completely.

How to do it:

- Adhesive tape
How to do it:
- Apply horizontal strips of adhesive tape on the cushion to create a pattern.
- Color the open spaces between the tape with different colors.
- Once the paint is dry, remove the adhesive tape.
6. Star’s Lamp
What you’ll need:
- Transparent plastic sphere
- Adhesive stars
- Paint
- Lights
How to do it:
- Stick the adhesive stars on the inside of the plastic sphere.
- Paint the interior of the sphere, covering the adhesive stars with paint as well.
- Once the paint is dry, carefully remove the adhesive stars.
- Insert the lights inside and close the sphere.
