Childhood is a time of boundless imagination, where the simplest of materials can transform into magical worlds and endless adventures. One delightful way to do just that is by crafting cardboard into their own playhouse. This hands-on project provides a fantastic opportunity to create a whimsical play space that will spark your child’s imagination and keep them entertained for hours on end.
Things you’ll need:

The roof:
- Cut two of the top flaps of the box in a triangle shape

- Cover the roof with another layer of cardboard that goes from side to side
A chimney on the roof:
- Cut a semicircle shape from one of the sides on the roof
- Cut diagonal lines at the left and right of that semicircle
- Bring out the triangle sides and complete the shape with pieces of cardboard
Sides and front of the house:
- Cut off a square from one of the sides of the box, for a window
- Cut off a front door and a small window on another side of the box
- Cover the box roof and outside walls with adhesive vinyl paper
Decorate the house facade:
- Add frames to the windows, using cardboard covered with adhesive paper
- You can also add a mailbox next to the front door
- Add a folding curtain on top of the door frame
The inside:
- Put a soft blanket and some pillows on the floor
