What you’ll need

• Alginate
• A pair of heels
• Gypsum
• A cutter
• A plexiglass sheet
• A hammer
• A hot air gun
• Epoxy resin
• Silicone kitchen tongs

How to do it

• Dig your shoes in the container with alginate
• Take them out and pour the gypsum in the hole the shoes left
• Let the gypsum dry and take the alginate block out of the container
• Take the alginate off the gypsum to leave only the shoe

• Carve the shoe to fit your foot shape
• Turn the shoe upside down and put the plexiglass sheet on top of it
• Blow hot air on the glass to shape it to the shoe

• When the plastic starts bending over the shoe, fold the edges to give your shoe a magic shape
• Using the tongs, push the glass into the shoe sides to create plastic straps
• Using the hammer, break the inside shoe shape in pieces

• Take the broken pieces out of the crystal shoe and clean the inside
• Pour some epoxy resin into the heel sole
• Blow hot air over the resin, to remove bubbles
• Repeat these two last steps one more time
