How to Paint a Beautiful and Relaxing Night Marine Scene Without the Fuss

Materials you will need
- Canvas
- Paints
- Tape
- Sponge
- Brush
- Toothbrush
- Lighthouse stencil
1. Draw a horizontal triangle in the center of your canvas
2. Apply small portions of different colors throughout the triangle
3. Using a brush, spread the colors and blur the joints between one and the other
4. Let it dry and once dry, cover the triangle with adhesive tape
5. Vertically place portions of colors, this time dark in shades of blue, purple, and black
6. Again, using a brush, spread the colors and blur the joints between one and the other
7. Mark a lighter area, as if it were a vertical cloud, by dabbing on the canvas with a sponge soaked in white paint
8. Put paint on the bristles of the toothbrush and rub your thumb over it to recreate some stars
9. At the bottom of the canvas, delimit the sides on one side in blue and on the other in black
10. Place your stencil over the side you painted black and using a sponge soaked in paint, stencil it onto the canvas
11. Let it dry, and once dry, carefully remove the adhesive tape
