How to Turn an Old Ladder into a Fashionable and Creative Coat Rack

Materials needed

• Wooden ladder
• Wooden rod
• Wooden shelves
• Screws and screwdriver
• Saw (if needed)
• Sandpaper (if needed)

1. If your ladder is too long, you will need to trim it into two pieces, and if it is a double one you will need to separate both parts

2. To start assembling the structure, you will need to support the two parts of the ladder on some other furniture or boxes

3. Place the pieces one on each side separated at the distance you want

4. Place the wooden stick on top and screw it at both ends to both sides of the ladder

5. Remove the furniture or boxes that you used to hold the stairs, they will no longer be needed

6. Insert the wooden shelves through the first and second step of each of the two parts of the staircase

7. Screw the wooden shelves to the ladder
