Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of melted butter

  • 1-2 vanilla cookies

  • 2 tbsp of cream cheese

  • 1 tbsp of sugar

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 2 strawberries (optional)

Preparation

  1. Put the melted butter in a small bowl. Break the cookies and mix until it’s solid.

  2. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until you get a creamy texture.

  3. Pour the mixture into the bowl with the cookies and butter.

  4. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 45 seconds. Repeat this 5 more times.

  5. Flip the bowl onto a plate. Voilà! Your cheesecake is ready.

  6. You may also add your favorite syrup or strawberries.

Cinnamon roll

Ingredients

Cinnamon roll:

  • ¼ cup of flour

  • 1 tsp of baking powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • ¼ cup of milk

  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp of oil

Icing:

  • ¼ cup of powdered sugar

  • 1 tbsp of melted butter

  • 1 tbsp of milk

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry ingredients—flour, baking powder, and salt—in a deep bowl.

  2. Pour in the milk, stirring lightly with a spatula until it’s well integrated.

  3. Smooth the dough. Spread it on a flat surface pressing it down with your fingers.

  4. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough until it’s long and thin.

  5. Scatter the cinnamon first and then brown sugar. Fold the sides.

  6. Carefully roll the dough into a roll.

  7. Put the roll in a mug and add oil. Microwave for 90 seconds.

  8. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, butter, and milk until creamy. That’s it! Your cinnamon roll is ready to be decorated.

Mac ’n’ cheese

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of macaroni

  • ½ cup of water

  • 3 tbsp of milk

  • ¼ cup of cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Put the macaroni into a small bowl. Add water. Season with salt to taste.

  2. Cook in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Take the bowl out of the microwave and add milk, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  4. Cook in the microwave for 30 more seconds.

Chicken quesadillas

Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas

  • ½ cup of previously cooked and shredded chicken

  • ½ cup of sliced bell pepper

  • 1 tbsp of taco seasoning

  • ½ cup of cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Place 2 tortillas on a plate and heat them in the microwave for 15 seconds until they’re slightly crispy.

  2. Mix shredded chicken, bell pepper, and taco seasoning in a bowl.

  3. Cook the mixture in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.

  4. Spread the mixture on the tortilla.

  5. Sprinkle a handful of cheddar cheese on top.

  6. Put another tortilla on top of it and microwave the quesadilla for 30 seconds.

Scrambled eggs

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ bell pepper

  • 2 slices of bacon

  • ¼ cup of fresh spinach

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients into a mug—eggs, sliced bell pepper, bacon, and spinach.

  2. Season to taste.

  3. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Microwave for 30 seconds.

Butternut squash and meatballs

Ingredients

  • Small butternut squash

  • Pre-cooked meatballs

  • 2 cups of tomato sauce

  • Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp of oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Split the squash in 2, scoop out the seeds, and place the 2 halves on a plate. Rub in some oil and season to taste. Heat in the microwave for 10 to 15 minutes.

  2. Pour the tomato sauce into a different bowl and add the meatballs. Cook the meatballs for 2 minutes.

  3. Scrape the inside of the squash with a fork.

  4. Put the meatballs inside the squash and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top.

BBQ chicken nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of previously cooked and shredded chicken

  • 3 tbsp of BBQ sauce

  • Tortilla chips

  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Mix the chicken and the BBQ sauce.

  2. Pour the mixture over the tortilla chips.

  3. Cover the tortilla chips and the chicken with shredded cheddar cheese.

  4. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  5. Serve this dish with your favorite sauce.

Fried rice

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of raw rice

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil

  • 2 strips of diced bacon

  • ½ cup of frozen vegetables

  • 2 eggs

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ¼ tsp of ginger (optional)

Preparation

  1. Put the rice, water, soy sauce, sesame oil, and bacon into a medium-sized bowl. If you wish, you may add ¼ tsp of ginger. Stir everything and cover the bowl with a plate.

  2. Cook in the microwave for 6 to 8 minutes.

  3. Incorporate the frozen vegetables.

  4. In a mug, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt.

  5. Heat the mug and the bowl in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.

  6. Mix the eggs together with the rice.
