How to do it:

1. Take a mango and visually divide it into 3 parts, as is shown in the picture above. The middle part is where the mango pit is located, so we won’t use it.

2. Take a knife and cut your mango into 3 parts. We’ll use only the 2 larger parts.

3. Take the larger parts and cut their flesh with a knife. When making a cut, move from the top to the bottom. Don’t cut the mango skin! The distance between the cuts should be about an inch, depending on the size of the mango.

4. Turn the parts at a 90-degree angle and cut the mango flesh the same way.

5. Take the mango part in your hands and gently arch it so that the small square parts inside get separated from each other. Repeat on the other mango piece and you’re ready to serve the fruit (you’ll have to use a fork or your fingers to separate the mango pieces from the skin while eating).

Note: You can use your fingers or a knife to remove all the mango pieces from the skin if you want to add them to a dish or serve them separately, without the skin.
