How to Eat Avocados

  • 2 avocados, pitted, scooped, and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

  • Slice the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  • Scoop the avocado and cut it into slices.
  • Place the slices on a platter.

How to make it:

  • Squeeze the lemon juice on the flesh (to prevent the avocado from browning).
  • Place the cucumber, bell pepper, jalapeno, onion, garlic, and diced tomatoes in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the hummus or mayo — just enough to bind all the ingredients together.
  • Fill the top of the avocados with this mixture and top it with salt and pepper.
  • Squeeze some more lemon on top.

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 of a small, finely diced onion
  • 2 diced tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 finely diced jalapeno pepper (with the seeds removed)
  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1/2 tsp of sea salt

How to make it:

  • Slice the avocados in half and remove the pits and the skin.
  • Place them in a bowl.
  • Mash them with a fork and make it chunky or smooth, depending on how you like it.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix it all together.

  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 peeled clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp of fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

How to make it:

  • Slice the avocado and remove the pit and skin.
  • In a food processor, add the garlic, avocado, lime or lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Process everything until smooth.
  • Add some water to thin the dressing and reach the desired consistency.
  • Keep it in a container and use it for up to 4 days after making it.

How to make it:

  • Slice the avocado and remove the pit and skin.
  • Put it in a blender with the coconut milk and honey until it’s all smooth.
  • Serve it in short glasses.

  • Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
  • Place the beaten egg in a shallow bowl.
  • On a plate, combine the breadcrumbs and lime chili seasoning salt.
  • Dip the slices in egg and then in the breadcrumbs with the lime chili seasoning salt before setting them aside.
  • Transfer them to a baking sheet and wait for them to get golden and crispy, which should take around 10 to 15 minutes.
