How to Make Easter Snacks

Every upcoming holiday is best celebrated when we have good food on our table. Bringing the family together and sharing such moments makes everything memorable and remarkable.

Kids love eating themed food, and since Easter is coming, 5-Minute Crafts prepared a couple of cool Easter snacks that are really easy to make.

1. Bunny tails

What we will need:

  • Butter cookies
  • Frosting
  • Pink food coloring
  • A pink edible heart
  • Black sprinkles

Step 1: Prepare the frosting according to the instructions.
Step 2: Divide it and place it into 2 separate bowls. Add pink food coloring into one of them and mix.
Step 3: Using a spoon, spread the resulting mixture onto the cookies.
Step 4: Cut the cookies into triangles and add them to the frosting to resemble the bunny ears.

Step 5: Put a pink edible heart in the middle and cover the bunny ears with white and pink frosting.
Step 6: Use black sprinkles and add them around the heart to resemble whiskers.

2. Carrot cookies

What we will need:

  • Chocolate bananas
  • White chocolate
  • Orange food dye
  • Green straws
  • Wooden sticks

Step 1: Cut the chocolate bananas in half.
Step 2: Peel the chocolate from the bananas.
Step 3: Melt white chocolate using a double boiler.
Step 4: Add orange food coloring to the chocolate and stir it.

Step 5: Dip the chocolate banana into the orange chocolate mix until fully covered.
Step 6: Once they’re dry, cut straws and add them to the part of the bananas that were cut before.

3. Carrot strawberries

What we will need:

  • Strawberries
  • White chocolate
  • Orange food coloring

Step 1: Wash the strawberries carefully and leave them to dry.
Step 2: Melt the chocolate using a double boiler.
Step 3: Add orange food coloring and mix the chocolate.
Step 4: Dip the strawberries, covering both sides.

Step 5: Once the strawberries are dry, heat the mixture again and drizzle the chocolate with a spoon from side to side over the strawberries.

4. Eggs

What we will need:

  • Corn flakes
  • Honey
  • Chocolate
  • Plastic egg containers

Step 1: Put the chocolate in a glass bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds. Stir it and put it back in the microwave. Repeat the process until the chocolate is melted.
Step 2: Add the honey to the melted chocolate and stir until it’s properly mixed.
Step 3: Add the crispy corn flakes, and mix.
Step 4: Using a spoon, fill the plastic egg containers with the mix.

Step 5: Set it aside for 30 minutes while it hardens. If you want, you can put them in the freezer to speed up the process.

5. Butterflies

What we will need:

  • Salted pretzels
  • M&Ms
  • Chocolate

Step 1: Group 2 pretzels by placing them side by side. They should resemble butterfly wings.
Step 2: Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir it and put it back. You can repeat the process as needed until the chocolate is fully melted.
Step 3: Pour the chocolate in the center of the 2 pretzels so that both pretzels are underneath the chocolate.
Step 4: Place an M&M over the chocolate while it’s still hot and wait for it to dry.

6. Bird nests

What we will need:

  • Salted sticks
  • 2 or 3 chocolates
  • Egg candies
  • A muffin tin

Step 1: Put the chocolate on a plate and microwave it for 30 seconds. You can repeat the process as much as needed until the chocolate is melted.
Step 2: Add the chocolate cornflakes and stir.
Step 3: Add the crunched salt sticks into the mixture. Mix well.
Step 4: Spoon it into a muffin tin.

Step 5: Use a finger or spoon to make a hole in the middle of each one so the eggs can fit.
Step 6: Add M&Ms to represent the eggs.
Step 7: The bird nests are ready.

7. Bunny ears

What we will need:

  • Butter cookies
  • Chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolate bananas

Step 1: Melt the chocolate in a microwave for about 1 minute.
Step 2: Spread the melted chocolate onto the butter cookie.
Step 3: Cut the chocolate banana and put it at the top of the cookie to make bunny ears.
Step 4: Add sprinkles while it’s still hot.
