How to Make French Toast

This crispy toast is as old as the Roman Empire and is still people’s favorite. An egg mixture, a frying pan with butter, and toppings are all you need for the perfect French Toast and 5-Minute Crafts will show you how to make it.

  • 4 large eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter
  • Toppings: jam, maple syrup, honey

There are 7 simple steps you need to follow to make a delicious French Toast, with toppings!

Step 1

First, crack 4 large eggs into a bowl.

Step 2

After cracking the eggs, add 300 ml of milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon.

Step 3

Whisk the mixture of eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until it’s completely mixed, and uniform in color and consistency.

Step 4

Soak each slice of bread in the mixture for a couple of minutes, on both sides, so that everything is covered.

Step 5

Once the slices are soaked, melt the butter in a frying pan on medium heat.

Step 6

Cook both sides of the bread until they are golden or for around 5 minutes each.

Step 7

When they are done, place them on a plate and serve them with your favorite toppings. Fruit jams, maple syrup, honey, and even cream cheese are good options.
