If you’re looking for a delicious and crunchy side dish for your meals and soups, garlic bread is ideal. It’s easy to make and pretty versatile. You can do it with a baguette for an extra crunchy result, or simply with a pan loaf. 5-Minute Crafts will show you 3 different ways of preparing it: one method uses a skillet, in case you don’t have an oven, and the 2 remaining ones use the oven.

1. Fried in a skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 2 or 3 tbsp of butter or 1 cup of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp of chopped parsley or oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the baguette into slices.
  2. Crush the cloves of garlic with a mortar and pestle.
  3. Add the butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper to a bowl and mix the ingredients until they are well combined. Alternatively, you can replace the butter and parsley with olive oil and oregano.
  4. Spread the mixture on both sides of the bread.
  5. Heat the frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Put the bread in the frying pan and toast the slices on both sides until they’re golden brown.

2. Baked in the oven
