How to Make Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
This homemade sauce is really easy to make and is perfect for a delicious pasta dish. 5-Minute Crafts will show you how you can make it in just a few minutes.
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 3 to 4 garlic cloves
- 2 carrots
- 28-ounce, canned tomatoes
- Seasoning — paprika, salt, and pepper
- Fresh herbs — parsley and basil
Step 1
Heat a couple tablespoons of olive oil over medium/medium-high until shimmering. Add chopped onions, garlic, and finely grated carrots. Cook and stir for around 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the canned tomatoes and 1/2 cup of water.

Add your seasonings and fresh herbs. You can use salt, pepper, paprika, basil, and parsley.
Step 4
Cover the sauce and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Give it a stir occasionally.
Step 5
Once it achieves a thick texture, add some cooked spaghetti and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 6
After waiting those 5 minutes, you can serve it immediately. Add some more fresh herbs if you want.
