Nachos are a snack made mainly of corn flour. Their crunchy texture and toasted flavor make them so versatile that they’re ideal for any occasion or to accompany other dishes.

1 ¼ cup of corn flour

½ cup of hot water

2 cups of deep-frying oil
-
A pinch of salt
-
A pinch of ground pepper
-
1 ½ tbsp of olive oil
Step 1

-
Mix the corn and wheat flour together with the salt and pepper in a bowl until all the ingredients are well-integrated.
Step 2

-
Add olive oil and knead by hand while slowly pouring in water.
Step 3

-
Once the dough is kneaded enough and is no longer sticky, roll it into a ball and cover it with plastic wrap.
-
Store the container in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Step 4

-
Place parchment paper under and over the dough, then use a rolling pin to flatten it.
-
Afterward, cut the dough into triangles.
Step 5

-
Heat the oil in a skillet and when it’s hot enough to deep fry the nachos, add them in batches. Flip them with a fork so that they turn an even golden brown.
-
Remove the nachos from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil.
Step 6

-
Your nachos are ready to be served as a side dish or with your favorite sauce.
