How to Make Popcorn on the Stovetop

Popcorn for making at home is often sold in bags that are supposed to be put into microwave ovens. But if you don’t have one at home, it might be hard to make.

5-Minute Crafts will tell you how to make popcorn at home. And instead of a microwave oven, you will need a wide and deep frying pan with a lid.

Ingredients

  • Popcorn seeds

  • Oil

  • Sugar or salt

How to make

Step № 1: Pus some oil in the frying pan. The layer should be very thin.

Step № 2: Put one seed in the middle, cover the pan with a lid, and put it on minimum heat.

Step № 3: Wait for the frying pan to heat up and the seed to open.

Step № 4: Remove the open seed, put 3-4 handfuls of new seeds into the pan, and cover the pan with a lid. Keep the heat at the minimum.

Step № 5: Wait until most of the seeds open. Turn the heat off and let the popcorn remain on the stove for 5-10 minutes until all the seeds open.

Step № 6. Remove the lid, add some salt or sugar, and stir it well. Put the popcorn into bowls and serve them.
