Today, the French recipe for the famous crêpe has evolved so much, you can find many different versions that include non-traditional French ingredients. But no matter how much the recipe changes, it’s still a dish that is always sought after by foodies, regardless of whether they have a sweet tooth or not.

5-Minute Crafts wants to share a recipe to make crêpes with you. While it might differ slightly from the original French crêpe recipe, it’s an easy and delicious way to prepare this classic street food in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients (12 crêpes)

For the crêpes:

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 1 cup of milk

For the filling:

  • Peanut butter

  • Condensed milk

  • Dulce de leche

  • Nutella

For the toppings:

  • Rainbow sprinkles

  • Strawberries

  • Cranberries

  • Walnuts

  • Brownie bits

  • Corn flakes with marshmallows

  • Other colorful sprinkles

  • Kiwi

Instructions

  1. You need 2 bowls to prepare the crêpes. In the first one, pour the milk and flour and mix them together until they’re well combined.
  2. In the other bowl, beat the eggs and mix them with the butter.
  3. Then put both mixtures together in the same bowl and stir to combine.
  4. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  1. Grease a frying pan using an oiled napkin.
  2. As soon as it gets hot, pour in some of the mixture that you prepared earlier. The goal is to make crêpes that are about 10 in (25 cm) in diameter.
  3. Cook on both sides until evenly browned.
  4. Add the filling of your choice to the crêpe.
