How to Make Vegan Bacon
Making tasty and crunchy vegan bacon at home is really easy to do. 5-Minute Crafts will show you how you can make it under 15 minutes.
- 3 sheets of rice paper
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Flakey salt (optional)

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Then, stack 3 sheets of rice paper together and cut them into equal pieces (rectangles).

Let’s make the marinade. Start by adding 3 tbsp of soy sauce.

Add 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast.

Add 1/2 tsp of garlic powder.

Whisk everything together. The marinade is ready.

Dip the rice paper in water to soften it a bit and then place it on parchment paper.

Add flakey salt (optional) and then lay another softened slice of rice paper on top of the first one.

With the help of a brush, coat both sides of the rice paper with the marinade.

When the sheet pan is full, place it in the oven (at 400ºF) and leave it there for around 9 minutes.
