You’ll need:

18 oz of ready-made puff pastry dough
1 bunch of leeks
7 eggs (fewer is ok) for the filling and 1 egg for glazing the pie
2-4 oz of any firm cheese
salt as per your taste
vegetable oil for greasing the baking mold

How to cook:

1. Boil the eggs.

2. Split the dough into 2 parts. Roll out one part and grease the baking dish with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Move the dough into the mold. Pierce it in several places with a fork.

3. Roll out the second part of the dough and put it aside.

4. Prepare the stuffing. To do it, chop the leeks and boiled eggs, mix them in a separate bowl. Add salt and mix again.

5. Put the stuffing onto the dough.

6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

7. Cover the pie with the part of the dough you had put aside. Decorate as per your taste. Pierce the dough with a fork in several places to let the hot steam out (in our case, the cut in the shape of the flower on the top of the pie serves this function).

8. Break an egg into a bowl. Whisk. Apply the mixture of egg white and yolk with the help of a pastry brush to make the cake golden brown.

9. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350°F until ready.
