How to Quickly Make Delicious Sandwiches
A sandwich can easily be called one of the most convenient snacks. They’re nutritious, and you can even eat them on the go. Plus, sandwich filling options are so diverse, you can try something new every day.
At 5-Minute Crafts, we have a few great recipes for sandwiches that you can make in just 5 minutes.
1. Fried egg sandwich with bacon and cheese
Ingredients (for 1 sandwich):
- 2 pieces of sandwich bread
- 2 slices of bacon
- 2 slices of Edam cheese
- 1/2 a tomato
- 1 egg
- Mayonnaise
- Leaves of iceberg lettuce or romaine lettuce
- Vegetable oil
The cooking process:
1. Fry the bread slightly with a drop of vegetable oil. Fry the bacon until golden brown.
2. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Take the lettuce leaves, rinse them with water, and leave them to dry slightly.
3. Fry the egg sunny side up in a little oil so that the yolk is not completely hard.
4. Spread mayonnaise on one slice of toasted bread. Top with cheese slices, tomato, bacon, and lettuce.
5. Put the fried egg on top of the lettuce, cover the sandwich with the piece of bread greased with mayonnaise, and serve.
2. Cheese sandwich with apples and bacon
Ingredients (for 1 sandwich):
- 2 pieces of sandwich bread
- 4 slices of hard cheese
- 2 slices of bacon
- 1/4 of an apple
- Vegetable oil
The cooking process:
1. Fry the bacon in a dry skillet until golden brown. Remove the core of the apple and slice the fruit.
2. Pour some vegetable oil into the pan and put in one slice of bread.
3. On top of the bread, put 2 slices of cheese, bacon, apple, 2 more slices of cheese, and another slice of bread.
4. Fry the sandwich in the skillet on both sides until golden brown.
3. Tuna and cheese sandwich
Ingredients (for 4 sandwiches):
- 1 can of preserved tuna
- 7 ounces of Emmental or Gouda cheese
- 8 pieces of sandwich bread
- 1/2 a tablespoon of capers
- 0.7 ounces of butter
- 1/2 of a cucumber
- Vegetable oil
- Ground black pepper (optional)
The cooking process:
1. Put canned tuna into a deep bowl and mash it lightly with a fork. Add capers and black pepper to taste, and stir.
2. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, and add it to the fish before stirring it again.
3. Put the bread on a dry skillet and lightly brown both sides.
4. Without removing the bread from the pan, put small pieces of butter on it, and the fish-cheese mixture on top. Add sliced cucumbers.
5. Join the sandwich halves together and leave them on the covered skillet for 1 to 2 minutes to let the cheese melt.
6. Garnish the sandwiches with thin cucumber slices.
4. Smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich
Ingredients (for 2 sandwiches):
- 1.4 ounces of cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 4 slices of toast
- 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar
- 2 slices of smoked salmon
- Lettuce leaves
- Ground black pepper (optional)
The cooking process:
1. Put the cheese in a deep bowl, add oil, vinegar, and pepper to it. Stir well.
2. Brush 2 slices of toast with the cheese paste. Then put 1 to 2 lettuce leaves on the other 2 slices, then brush them with the cheese paste.
3. Put a piece of salmon on each slice of toast with lettuce and cheese. Cover the sandwich with the other pieces of toast.
5. Sandwich with baked tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil
Ingredients (for 2 sandwiches):
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 3.5 ounces of mozzarella
- 4 slices of toast
- 2 basil twigs
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Olive oil
The cooking process:
1. Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater.
2. Cut the tomatoes in half and put them into a bowl. Add garlic, olive oil, and salt to them, and mix gently.
3. Place the resulting mixture on a baking tray and put it in the oven preheated to 356°F for 5 to 7 minutes.
4. Cut the mozzarella into small circles.
5. Put the cheese, the baked tomatoes, and basil leaves on 2 slices of toast.
6. Cover each sandwich with a second piece of toast and fry them in a skillet until golden brown.
6. Nutella and banana sandwich
Ingredients (for 2 sandwiches):
- 4 slices of toast
- 1 banana
- 2 teaspoons of butter
- Nutella chocolate spread
The cooking process:
1. Brown each piece of toast on one side on a dry skillet. Spread some butter on the other side.
2. Spread Nutella on top of the butter on 2 of the 4 sices of toast.
3. Peel the banana and cut it into thin circles. Put the banana circles on top of the chocolate spread.
4. Cover each sandwich with a second slice of toast.
7. Pickled herring and cucumber sandwich
Ingredients (for 1 sandwich):
- 1 small baguette
- 7 ounces of pickled herring fillets
- 1/2 of a red onion bulb
- 2 pickled cucumbers
- Mayonnaise
The cooking process:
1. Cut the baguette horizontally, leaving the backside uncut.
2. Peel onions and chop them. Cut the cucumbers into thin slices and the herring into small pieces.
3. Put the herring, onions, and cucumbers into the baguette. Dress them with mayonnaise.
