10 Ways to Use Aloe Vera as a Beauty and Skin Care Product

1. Healing ampoule
What you’ll need:
- 1 aloe vera leaf
 - Honey
 - Blender or food processor
 - Knife or string for cutting
 - 1 empty pill strip
 - Dropper
 
Instructions:
- Cut the aloe vera leaf in half lengthwise and remove the central part with a spoon.
 - Place the central part of the leaf in a blender or food processor and add a little honey. Blend until a homogeneous gel is obtained.
 - Remove some of the gel with the dropper and pour it in all the cavities of the strip of pills. Then, put it in the refrigerator until the gel hardens.
 - Take out an ampoule and rub it on your injury or wound. The aloe vera gel and honey will help it heal faster.
 
2. Eyebrow dye
What you’ll need:
- Aloe vera gel
 - Light or dark brown eye shadow
 - Clean eyebrow or eyelash brush
 
Instructions:
- Pour some aloe vera gel and eye shadow powder in a clean bowl. Mix until you get a homogeneous paste.
 - Dip the brush into the mixture and apply it on your eyebrows, combing them to the sides.
 
3. Hair growth mask
What you’ll need:
- Aloe vera gel
 - Natural yogurt
 - 1 banana
 - 1 ampoule of vitamin E
 - Knife or thin blade
 - Blender or food processor
 
Instructions:
- Put the aloe vera gel, yogurt, and banana in the blender or food processor.
 - Open the vitamin E ampoule with a knife or a razor and pour the contents into the glass with the other ingredients. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous paste.
 - Apply to dry hair starting from the scalp and leave on for half an hour.
 - Rinse and dry your hair. Aloe vera can help promote hair growth.
 
4. Natural eyelash strengthener
What you’ll need:
- 1 aloe vera leaf
 - Rolling pin
 - Knife
 - 1 clean bowl
 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
 - Clean eyelash brush
 
Instructions:
- Cut one end of the aloe vera leaf and crush it with the rolling pin to release the gel.
 - Pour the gel from the leaf into the bowl and add a little olive oil. Mix until both ingredients are well combined.
 - Dip the brush into the mixture and apply to your eyelashes from the base.
 
5. Anti-wrinkle mask
What you’ll need:
- 1 aloe vera leaf
 - Knife
 - Spoon
 - Natural yogurt
 - Honey
 - Spirulina powder
 - Blender or food processor
 
Instructions:
- Cut the aloe vera leaf in half lengthwise and remove the central part using a spoon.
 - Put the central part of the leaf in a blender or food processor and add the natural yogurt, honey, and spirulina powder. Blend until you obtain a homogeneous paste.
 - Apply the mask on your face weekly to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
 
6. Facial scrub
What you’ll need:
- 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel
 - 1 tbsp of white sugar
 - 1 tbsp coconut oil
 - 1 bag of green tea
 
Instructions:
- Pour all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined.
 - Apply to the face in circular motions and remove with a damp towel.
 
7. Natural deodorant
What you’ll need:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
 - 1 tbsp vegetable glycerin
 - 2 tbsp of aloe vera gel
 - 4 tbsp of baking soda
 - Pot or deep frying pan
 - Glass container
 - Aluminum or plastic container with a lid
 
Instructions:
- Pour the ingredients into the glass bowl and stir until well combined.
 - Place the container in a double boiler for a few minutes to heat the mixture.
 - Pour the mixture into the aluminum or plastic container and refrigerate for a few hours.
 - After refrigerating, you will have a gel. Apply it to your armpits, massaging it until it is completely absorbed.
 
8. Moisturizing lotion
What you’ll need:
- Aloe vera leaf
 - 1/2 cup of honey
 - Knife
 - Container
 - Mortar or pestle
 
Instructions:
- Cut the aloe vera leaf into medium pieces and place them in a bowl.
 - Add the honey and stir to combine.
 - With the help of a mortar or pestle, grind the aloe vera pieces until they’re completely crushed. You can also use a food processor for a few seconds.
 - Apply to your hands, massaging the most affected areas, and rinse. The moisturizing properties of aloe vera will help you fight dryness.
 
9. Anti-acne cream
What you’ll need:
- Aloe vera gel
 - Toothpaste
 - Small container
 - Wooden stick or small spoon
 - Cotton swabs
 
Instructions:
- Pour the same amount of aloe vera gel and toothpaste in a bowl and stir with a stick or spoon until everything’s well combined.
 - With a cotton swab, apply the mixture generously on your pimples and leave overnight. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

 - Pour the mixture into a clean container and spread a little on the towel.
 - Apply on your face, massaging gently, to remove makeup.
