1. Greasy hair

What you’ll need:

  • 270 ml of organic shampoo base
  • 14 ml jojoba oil
  • 25 drops of petitgrain essential oil
  • 18 drops of lavender essential oil
  • Cleaned and disinfected container
  • Spatula or spoon for stirring
  • Shampoo bottle

Instructions:

  1. Pour the 270 ml of the base shampoo into the clean and disinfected container.
  2. Add the jojoba oil and mix well with a spatula or spoon.
  3. Add the petitgrain and lavender essential oils and stir again.
  4. Pour the shampoo into a clean container and use it regularly.

Benefits:

  • Jojoba oil strengthens hair, leaving it stronger and making it easier to style and manage in general. It also has properties that can help treat dryness and dandruff.
  • On the other hand, petitgrain oil has cleansing effects, leveling hormones and keeping skin oils balanced for proper nourishment.
  • Finally, lavender oil is antimicrobial, so it prevents the appearance of dandruff or other hair problems, like itching or infections in general.

2. Anti-dandruff

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup cold chamomile infusion
  • 1/2 cup liquid castile soap
  • 15 drops of peppermint essential oil or tea tree essential oil
  • Shampoo bottle
  • Funnel

Instructions:

  1. Pour the chamomile infusion into the shampoo bottle using the funnel.
  2. Add the castile soap.
  3. Add the essential oil one drop at a time.
  4. Put the cap on and gently shake the bottle to integrate all the ingredients.

Benefits:

  • First of all, peppermint and tea tree essential oils have proven to be effective in eliminating and controlling dandruff.
  • Castile soap is an excellent alternative if you want a natural shampoo, as it is free of animal fats and synthetic ingredients.
  • Chamomile can promote skin health through its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, making it ideal for maintaining a healthy scalp.

3. Normal hair

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup liquid neutral soap
  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp of glycerin
  • 10 drops of tea tree essential oil
  • 1 tsp almond oil
  • Clean and disinfected container
  • Spoon
  • Shampoo bottle

Instructions:

  1. Add neutral soap to a clean container. Add the aloe vera gel, the water, and the teaspoon of glycerin. Stir well.
  2. Pour 10 drops of tea tree essential oil and then the almond oil.
  3. Stir the mixture and pour it into the shampoo bottle.
  4. In order to best preserve it, place it in the refrigerator and shake gently before each use.

Benefits:

  • Neutral soap helps remove dirt from the skin without affecting the pH or causing dryness or irritation on sensitive skin.
  • Tea tree essential oil, on the other hand, has properties that promote hair growth and help keep hair healthy.
  • As an emollient, almond oil leaves hair softer and, at the same time, strengthens it.

4. Dry and damaged hair

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup of liquid glycerin soap
  • 2 tbsp of vegetable glycerin
  • 2 tbsp aloe vera gel
  • 6 capsules of vitamin E
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Bottle for shampoo
  • Cleaned and disinfected container
  • Spoon
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of the aloe vera gel to the clean and disinfected container. Then add the same amount of vegetable glycerin and extra virgin olive oil.
  2. With scissors, make a small hole in the 6 vitamin E capsules and add the contents to the mixture.
  3. Add the glycerin soap and mix gently with a spoon.
  4. Finally pour the shampoo into the empty shampoo bottle and use it regularly.

Benefits:

  • Glycerin, as well as soap with this ingredient, promotes the hydration of the skin and, therefore, of the scalp. Aloe vera contains moisturizing and nourishing properties, so it is also used to treat dry hair.
  • Vitamin E can contribute to scalp health by preserving the lipid or sebaceous barrier of the skin, keeping it moisturized and healthy.

5. To stop hair loss and stimulate growth

What you’ll need:

  • 500 ml organic glycerin shampoo or baby shampoo
  • 1 cup of ground coffee
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 mortar and pestle
  • Clean and disinfected container
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Empty shampoo bottle

Instructions:

  1. Mix the coffee and cinnamon in the empty container.
  2. Grind both ingredients a little more with the help of the mortar and pestle.
  3. Return the mixture to the empty container and add the glycerin or baby shampoo. Stir until completely integrated.
  4. Pour the mixture into the bottle. Use frequently for best results.

Benefits:

  • There is evidence that, when used topically, coffee can help stop hair loss and even promote hair growth by stimulating the follicles. At the same time, it contributes to creating softer and shinier hair due to its antioxidant properties.
  • Cinnamon, on the other hand, can stimulate blood circulation on the scalp, resulting in increased hair growth. It also has antifungal properties which can come in handy when you’re trying to control dandruff and other skin problems.
