Don’t toss them, restore them: How to revive your makeup products

1. Disinfect your face powder

To clean and disinfect your makeup powder, you’ll just need alcohol, glycerin and a napkin.

  • Mix the alcohol and glycerin and put some drops on the powder
  • Make the alcohol drops roll over the powder
  • Collect the alcohol mix, absorbing it with a napkin

2. Reusable eyelashes

Things you’ll need:

  • Water
  • Shampoo
  • A pair of tweezers

How to do it:

  • Mix water and shampoo in a small bowl
  • Put the lashes inside and stir
  • Take the lashes out and, with the help of the tweezers, peel the glue off

3. What to do if your lip gloss bottle is broken

Things you’ll need:

  • A small pastry bag
  • Scissors
  • An empty lip gloss bottle

How to do it:

  • With the help of the lipstick applicator, take the gloss out of the broken bottle
  • Put the gloss in the bag
  • Cut the tip of the bag with your scissors
  • Pour the gloss into your new bottle

4. Broken eyeshadows

How to do it:

  • Take the eyeshadow pieces out of the palette and into a beaker
  • Crush the eyeshadow until it’s pulverized
  • Clean the empty eyeshadow palette very well, with a cotton piece
  • Pour the ground eyeshadow back in the palette empty space
  • Stamp a round object on the eyeshadow, pressing until it’s compacted again

5. Reusing empty blush containers

Things you’ll need:

  • Vaseline
  • Eco glitter
  • A glass beaker
  • Peppermint oil

How to do it:

  • Put some Vaseline in the beaker
  • Heat until it’s melted
  • Add some drops of peppermint oil and the glitter
  • Stir until it’s all well mixed
  • Pour the mix in the blush container and wait until it’s hardened

6. Lipsticks like new

Things you’ll need:

  • A glass beaker
  • Old lipstick bars
  • Lipstick molds

How to do it:

  • Put the pieces of old lipsticks in the beaker
  • Melt the lipstick until it’s liquid
  • Pour it into the mold and let it harden

7. Taking advantage of your concealer

To use your concealer to the last drop, just take the plastic stopper that’s on the top of the bottle. Then, insert the applicator and the product should come out easier.

8. When your eyeliner brush is not good anymore

The best eyeliner brush could be in your own hands!. Take some of the product from the bottle, with your nail. Then, slide your nail across your eyelid to get the perfect line.
