How to Do Eyebrow Makeup
The fashion of the shape, color, and brightness of eyebrows changes from season to season. In order to keep up with the trends, you need to know a lot of different things. But no matter what the trends are, there are some basic things you can learn once and use forever.

- A comb
- A bevel brush for shading
- A soft brush
- Tweezers
- Small scissors

-
Oval face: the hair should be straight and the brows, a bit rounded.
-
Square face: the eyebrows should be wide with a smooth curve.
-
Rectangle face: the eyebrows should be wide and elongated.
-
Triangle face: arcuate the eyebrows with the “tails” going up.
-
Diamond face: make the eyebrows wide with a smooth curve.
Eyebrow shape
To get a beautiful brow appearance, find the starting point (1), the breakpoint (2), and the end (3). You can use a makeup brush to calculate the “formula” of your makeup application.
The process
-
Use the brush to lift the hairs up.
-
If needed, cut the long hairs with scissors.
-
Remove the hairs you don’t need with tweezers.
-
Draw lines under the eyebrows. Do it on both sides to make the makeup more symmetrical.
-
Use the comb brush to put the hairs down. Draw the upper line of the eyebrow with a pencil.
6. Fill in the space between the lines in one of the following ways:
- Use the beveled brush to shade the pencil lines from the edges to the center.
- Use a soft brush to add eyebrow shades.
- Use the pencil to fill in the gaps between the hair and shade it with the brush.
7. Add eyebrow gel to fix the makeup and make it brighter.
Recommendations
-
Choose a color 1 or 2 tones lighter than your eyebrow color.
-
To make the makeup more natural, use several colors of pencils.
-
If you’re using a pencil, make sure it’s sharp.
-
Choose a soft but not greasy pencil.
-
You can use a pencil only where there are hairs.
-
When combing the hairs, direct them upward.
-
To get rid of any extra pigment, use a cotton swab.
