How to Lighten Dark Armpits
Naturally, the skin of your armpits should be about the same shade as the rest of your skin. 1. Shave properly.
What to do:
✅ Always apply a moisturizing shaving cream for sensitive skin and let it sit for 15-30 seconds before shaving.
✅ Shave in the direction of hair growth.
✅ Apply unscented moisturizing lotion after shaving to reduce irritation.
✅ Replace razor blades often to prevent the dull blades from irritating your skin.
2. Apply cucumber slices.
What to do:
✅ Cut some thick slices of cucumber.
✅ Rub the slices into the dark skin of your underarms and let it stay there for about 15 minutes.
✅ Then rinse your armpits with cool water.
✅ Repeat every couple of days.
3. Exfoliate with lemon juice.
What to do:
✅ Take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel.
✅ Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.
✅ Apply the mixture to your armpits and let it sit for 10 minutes.
✅ After that, rinse your armpits with water.
✅ Repeat twice a week.
4. Use baking soda.
What to do:
✅ Take a little bowl and pour 2 tablespoons of water in it.
✅ Add enough baking soda to create a thick paste and mix it well.
✅ Apply the paste on your armpits and leave it there for about 4 minutes.
✅ Repeat once or twice a week to exfoliate the skin on your armpits and make it look brighter and smoother.
5. Try an activated charcoal mask.
What to do:
✅ Take 3 tablets of activated charcoal and grind them up into a small bowl.
✅ Add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix the ingredients well to make a paste.
✅ Apply the paste to your armpits and leave it there for 20 minutes.
✅ Wipe the paste away with some wet wipes or rinse it with lukewarm water.
✅ Repeat daily for a week.
6. Use turmeric and lemon.
What to do:
✅ Add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice to enough turmeric to make a paste.
✅ Cover your underarms evenly with the mixture.
✅ Wait 30 minutes and rinse the paste off.
