How to Quickly Get Rid of a Pimple
Sometimes the skin on our face requires a quick fix — to get rid of a pimple that appeared out of blue. If, at this moment, you don’t have special patches for pimple flare-ups, then things like pastes and masks can help greatly.
We at 5-Minute Crafts selected several recipes that really help fight irritation and smooth the complexion extremely quickly.
Banana, baking soda, and lemon juice
Mash a banana with a fork in a bowl, add the juice of half a lemon and 3-4 tsp. baking soda. Stir the mixture until smooth. Apply to the pimple. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse it off.
Toothpaste
Option 1. Apply toothpaste on the pimple. Leave it on overnight. Rinse off the paste in the morning and apply moisturizing cream on your face.
Option 2. Mix the toothpaste with aloe juice and apply the mixture on the pimple. Leave it on overnight. Rinse it off in the morning.
Turmeric and tea tree oil
Option 1. In order to cure isolated pimples, take powdered turmeric, a little bit of water, and several drops of tea tree oil. Stir until you get a thick paste. Apply it on each pimple. Leave it overnight. Rinse off in the morning.
Option 2. If you have a lot of pimples, you can try making a facial mask based on turmeric, white clay, and moisturizing components like yogurt and honey. Mix all of the ingredients until you get a homogenous mass, apply it to your face, and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off.
Garlic
Cut a garlic clove and apply it to the pimple so that its juice gets on your skin. Keep it on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse off the juice and apply a moisturizing cream.
Baby powder and water
Mix 2–3 tbsp of baby powder with a small amount of water so that you get a liquid-ish mass. Apply it to your clean face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse well.
Ice cubes from lemon juice and aloe
Take an ice cube tray. Pour aloe juice in some cubes and lemon juice — in others. Place the tray in the freezer. Aloe cubes help to soothe the skin, while lemon juice reduces the size of pimples and slightly tightens the skin.
Green tea, aloe juice, and coconut oil
Take a couple of teaspoons of aloe juice, 1 tsp of coconut oil and 2-3 tsp of dry green tea. Mix well until homogenous. Apply to the pimple and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse off. This mask is suitable for sensitive skin.
