5 Fancy Ways to Fold Napkins
Napkins are always an essential part of any table setting. However, in addition to their main function, they can also create a certain mood and atmosphere. 5-Minute Crafts would like to show you some unique napkin-folding ideas that will help you impress all of your guests at the table.
1. Triple pocket fold

- Place a square napkin on the table.
- Then take the first layer on top of the napkin and fold it diagonally.

- Fold the next layer of the napkin diagonally as well, but stop slightly before the first fold.
- Tuck the second fold beneath the first one.

- Fold one more layer and tuck it beneath the previous fold again. The distance between each fold should be equal.

- Flip the napkin over and fold the left side about 1/3 of the way.

- Then fold the right side to meet the far edge of the napkin.

- Tuck the lower-left corner of the napkin under the shortest fold on the left side.

- Flip the napkin over again and insert your cutlery into the pockets.
2. Candy bowl fold

- Place a napkin on the table and unfold it.

- Then fold each corner of the napkin up to the middle.

- After the first set of folds is done, make another set of folds with each corner in the middle as well.

- When it’s finished, make one more set of folds to the middle.

- Flip the folded square over and fold all the corners to the middle.

- Take a glass, turn it upside down, and put it on the table.
- Flip the napkin over and place it on the glass.

- Start carefully folding down each of the corners of the napkin until all of them face down.

- Once all the corners are folded down, remove the napkin from the glass and turn it over.
- Now you can place your favorite candies inside.
3. Royal rose fold

- Take a napkin, unfold it, and place it on the table.
- Then fold the napkin in half to make a triangle.

- Grab the napkin by the 2 ends of the triangle and start rolling it toward the top until you reach the center of the triangle.
- Flip the napkin over.

- Take one end of the napkin and roll it to the other end. The result should look like a rosette.

- Tuck the loose end of the roll inside.
- Then grab the 2 tail ends that stick out from the rosette and pull them apart.

- Flip over the rosette and adjust the 2 tails so that they look like leaves.
- The royal rose is ready!
4. Lotus fold

- Take a napkin, unfold it, and place it on the table.

- Fold each corner of the napkin to the middle.

- Flip the napkin over and fold each corner to the middle again.

- Place one of your hands on the center of the napkin and reach underneath its corner with your other hand.
- Pull the bottom layer of the napkin up to create a lotus petal.

- Repeat the previous step with each corner of the napkin, forming lotus petals out of them.
- Now you can put a plate on it and enjoy your meal.
5. Bunny fold

- Take a napkin, unfold it completely, then fold it in half to form a long rectangle.
- Fold it again, in half, lengthwise, to form an even longer and thinner rectangle.

- Grab the top-left corner and fold it down along the centerline.
- Repeat with the right side of the napkin.

- Fold up the bottom corners of the napkin to the center so that the napkin is in a square shape.

- Bring the left and right edges of the napkin together to the centerline. Now the napkin should look like a kite.

- Flip the napkin over and fold the upper point of it down to create a triangle.

- Flip the napkin over and turn it upside down.
- Then grab the napkin by the bottom corners and bring them together.

- Tuck one corner into the pocket of the other one.
- After that, flip the napkin over.

- Open up the 2 edges of the napkin that are pointing upward, forming them to look like bunny ears.

- To prevent the bunny from unfolding, you can use a piece of twine or thread.
