10 Best Back To School Hacks And Crafts To Impress Your Teacher

1. Brilliant ruler
You will need:
- Plastic envelope
- Ruler
- Glitter
- Hair straightener
How to do it:
- Cut the sealed side of the plastic envelope.
- Seal the open side with masking tape and then iron, leaving a small opening in one of the corners.
- Through the opening you left, first pour in the glitter and then the clear glue.
- Seal the open space again with the iron and attach your creation to a ruler.
2. Grid tracer
You will need:
- Toe separators for pedicure
- Markers
How to do it:
- Place a marker in each of the toe slots of the pedicure toe separator.
- Once you have them all arranged, place them on the board or paper and trace four lines at once.
3. Emergency compass
You will need:
- Markers
- Elastic band
How to do it:
- Place two markers inside the elastic band, one with a cap and one without.
- Press the one with the cap firmly against the paper, as it will be the center of the circle.
- Keeping the band taut, use the marker without the cap to draw a circumference around the capped marker.
4. Nail polish pen
You will need:
- Pen
- Nail polish
- Hot glue
How to do it:
- Disassemble the pen, remove it from its tube, and cut it to the size of the nail polish bottle.
- Insert the trimmed pen into the nail polish bottle.
- Seal the remaining space at the mouth of the nail polish bottle with hot glue to secure it in place.
5. Tablet holder
You will need:
- Folder
- Rubber bands
- Hot glue
How to do it:
- Glue two rubber bands horizontally on the inside of the back cover, one at the top and one at the bottom.
- Let it dry completely before placing your tablet inside.
6. Unicorn headphone case
You will need:
- 3D Pen
- Headphone case
- Painter’s tape
How to do it:
- Cover the headphone case with painter’s tape.
- Completely cover it by tracing lines with the 3D pen.
- Once it’s dried, add details like eyes and mouth.
- Create a horn on the top by making a cone with the 3D pen. Add flowers and leaves around the horn made with the 3D pen.
7. Stress-relief notebook
You will need:
- Notebook
- Ziplock bag
- Foam sheet
- Hydrogel beads
- Slime
- Glue
How to do it:
- Place hydrogel beads and slime inside the ziplock bag.
- Attach the bag to the center of the notebook cover.
- Cut a rectangle from the foam sheet the size of the notebook cover, and also cut a decorative shape in the center.
- Glue the foam rectangle to the notebook.
8. Custom stickers
You will need:
- Paper and colored pencils or markers
- Wax paper
- Sticker paper
How to do it:
- Draw your desired design with the colored pencils or markers and cut along its edge.
- Place it on the wax paper and cover it with the sticker paper.
- Cut the design following the shape of the drawing but leaving at least a half-centimeter margin.
- Stick it like a regular sticker in the desired location.
9. Watermelon notebook
You will need:
- Notebook
- Felt fabric
- Glue
How to do it:
- Cut the outside of the notebook cover in a semicircular shape.
- From the felt fabric, cut a green piece the same size as the notebook, a white one a few centimeters smaller, and a red one a few centimeters smaller than the white piece.
- Glue the layers of felt onto the cover from largest to smallest.
- Cut seed shapes and place them as desired on top of the red felt.
10. Portable copier
You will need:
- Balsa wood
- Clear CD case
How to do it:
- Cut three pieces from the balsa wood to create a stand, making a small notch to insert the transparent CD case cover.
- Once the stand is assembled, place the CD case cover and position the phone on the stand with the image you want to transfer to paper.
- Place a piece of paper on the table beneath the CD case cover and, following the silhouette of the reflected image on the transparent CD case cover, trace onto the paper.
