10 Hacks that can be real lifesavers

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where time is a precious commodity and unexpected challenges often arise, having a collection of reliable and ingenious hacks at your disposal can be nothing short of a rescuer. 1. Portable toothpaste

For this hack, you’ll need:

  • An empty pill’s blister
  • Toothpaste
  • baking soda

How to do it:

  • Fill each hole of the blister with toothpaste
  • Spread some baking soda on top of the toothpaste
  • Seal the blister on the back and wait until the pills have hardened, to use

2. Roll-on sunscreen

How to do it:

  • Take out the ball of the roll-on container
  • Make sure the container is empty and clean and, fill it up with sunscreen cream
  • Place the roll-on ball back in the container

3. Mud isolation

Protect your feet and shoes from the mud, covering them with duct tape. Wrap the duct tape tightly around your foot, wearing a sock, and keep going up above your ankle.

4. Easily peeling eggs

For this hack, you’ll just need a board pin:

  • Using the pin, make a small hole to the egg on the top and on the bottom
  • Boil the egg for 5 minutes
  • Take it out of the water and let it cool
  • Place the egg o n a flat surface and roll your hand over it
  • Easily peel it off

5. Cutting a cake without a knife

If a knife is not available to cut a cake, a glass can be your best solution. Simply, introduce the glass facing down, in the cake and lift it to use it as a cake holder.

6. DIY sugar bowl

Things you’ll need:

  • An empty hazelnut cream container
  • A scratch awl
  • A straw
  • Scissors

How to do it:

  • Fill the container with sugar
  • Put the lid on the container and, Using the awl, make a hole in the middle of it
  • Insert the straw in the hole
  • Cut the top of the straw diagonally

7. Cord hair ties as new

If your cord hair ties have stretched, bring them back to life, using a hairdryer. Just blow hot air on the hair tie and watch it become smaller.

8. Phone holder

For this hack, you’ll just need a hair tie and your phone case:

  • Take case off the phone
  • Put the hair tie around the case, vertically
  • Put the case back on the phone
  • Insert your hand through the part of the tie that is on the back of the phone

9. Functional pillow cover

How to do it:

  • Put the cover on the back of the chair, with the opening facing up
  • Fold in the top of the opening over the chair back

10. Sneaking a soda

For this hack, you’ll just need a bag of sliced bread and a cup:

  • Place the cup facing down on a slice of bread
  • Push the cup down until you cut a circular shape from the center of the slice
  • Repeat the same with the rest of the slices and pile them back in their bag
  • Introduce a soda bottle through the hole that’s in the center of the slices
  • Put a full slice on top to cover the bottle and close the bag
