- An empty paper towel tube
- Rubber bands
How to do it:
- Roll several rubber bands around the tube
- Grab the tube and sweep it on the carpet from side to side
3. Close a door in a public toilet
Things you’ll need:
- A hair tie
- A hair pin
How to do it:
- Wrap the band around the middle of the pin
- Insert the outside handle through the band
- Pull the band to the inside and place the pin horizontally, before you close the door
4. Folding a fitted sheet the easy way
How to do it:
- With the sheet hanging on a clothes line, fold in the right side, to the center of the sheet
- Fold in the left side of the sheet
- Take the sheet off the line and fold in in half twice
5. Auto opening trash can
Transform your kitchen can into an auto-opening device, so you don’t have to touch the lid. You’ll just need a tape and a cord.
- With a piece of tape, stick one edge of the string to the lid and the other to the kitchen cabinet wall
This should pull the lid of the can, every time you open the cabinet door.
6. Roasted off

For this hack, you’ll need:
- A Spray bottle
- Water
- Fabric softener
How to do it:
- In the spray bottle, mix three thirds of water and one third of softener
- Close the bottle and shake
- Apply on the wrinkles
8. Bright solution for dirty tile divisions
Things you’ll need:
- A candle
- Coffeee
- A cleaning cloth
How to do it:
- Rub a candle over the divisions
- Pour some coffee on the tiles
- Clean with a cloth

For this hack, you’ll just need plastic bags with handles:
- Hang the bags upside down on a clothes line
- Hang the shoes with the sole facing up, on the handles of the bags
10. New lid for a bottle
Use a plastic bottle to make a customized lid for a glass bottle. You’ll just need a plastic bottle, a cutter and a lighter:
- Cut off the plastic bottle, from the neck, up
- Put that upper plastic part on the glass bottle
- Burn the plastic with the lighter, until it’s fit to the glass bottle
- Close the bottle with the plastic lid
