In order to get rid of limescale and stains on a showerhead or faucet, one needs to learn several tricks.

We at 5-Minute Crafts are gladly sharing these tips and tricks with you in this article. Use a lemon, cucumber, or vinegar, and your faucets will shine like new.

Toothpaste

1️⃣ Apply toothpaste on a sponge or soft cloth.
2️⃣ Thoroughly wipe the faucet.
3️⃣ Foam the paste with the sponge or the cloth with the help of water.
4️⃣ Dry well.

Vinegar and baking soda

1️⃣ If your showerhead gets clogged, take vinegar, a plastic bag, and a cable (or an elastic band).
2️⃣ Pour 1 glass of baking soda into the plastic bag.
3️⃣ Pour 3 glasses of white vinegar over it.
4️⃣ The ingredients must start a reaction.
5️⃣ Place the showerhead into the bag and secure it the way it’s shown in the photo above. Leave it for a couple of hours or overnight.
6️⃣ Rinse the showerhead with warm water and dry well with a soft piece of cloth.

Cucumber

1️⃣ This method works well if your faucet is stained.
2️⃣ Cut a cucumber in half and wipe the stained surface with it.
3️⃣ Wipe with a piece of cloth.

Lemon

1️⃣ If your faucet got coated with limescale, lemon can help get rid of it.
2️⃣ Cut it in half, rub it over the entire surface of the faucet, and leave it for several hours.
3️⃣ Wipe with a napkin, old toothbrush, or a sponge.

Baby oil

1️⃣ Apply a small amount of baby oil to the stained surface or to a napkin.
2️⃣ Wipe it with a microfiber cloth until the surface becomes clean.
3️⃣ Dry well with a piece of clean cloth or a towel.
