How to Open a Banana Correctly
The traditional way of opening a banana from the stem is probably very obvious but not the easiest way. It takes a lot of effort and some of the banana will get squished. Fortunately, there’s a better way.

Parts of a banana
Every banana is covered with skin (peel) that protects the tender flesh inside. The stem is at the top. It’s used to connect the banana with other bananas in the “bunch.” The banana expands and curves from the stem to the brown tip at the bottom. The tip is the remnant from whence the banana fruit was a banana flower.
How to open a banana
There are many ways to open a banana, but this one is considered the right way:
Step № 1: Take the banana with the stem down.
Step № 2: Pinch the tip, so that it opens.
Step № 3: Carefully remove the skin.
