How to Remove Sweat Stains
After a hard day of work or even a gym session, it’s normal to leave behind sweat stains on our clothes. To help you get rid of these perspiration stains, 5-Minute Crafts has listed a few methods that will make them quickly disappear.
1. Use lemon juice.
Add the juice of one lemon and the same amount of water into a bowl. Apply this mixture onto the stain and scrub the affected area with a nailbrush. Place the piece of clothing in a sunny area to dry.
2. Try some vinegar.
Pour vinegar directly onto the stain and gently rub the area. Wash it like normal afterward.
3. Use aspirin.
This is a good option for white cotton shirts. Dissolve 2 soluble aspirin tablets in half a bowlful of water. Apply this to the affected area and leave it to soak for a couple of hours. Then, rub a little liquid detergent into the stain. Wash it like normal.
4. Apply baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
Mix equal parts baking soda and hydrogen peroxide until it forms a paste. Rub the stain with the paste, then wash it normally.
5. Use some salt.
Dissolve some salt in hot water. Gently sponge the solution onto the stained garment until the stain disappears.
6. Soak the stain.
Mix one cup of vinegar and 2 cups of water. Soak the stained piece of clothing in this mixture for about 20 minutes. Next, rub the area with a paste of 1/2 cup of baking soda mixed with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide.
