10+ Celebrities Who Transformed Drastically After Losing Weight

Celebrities have a lot of reasons to lose weight. Some do it for a role they have to play, while some do it for a healthier lifestyle. Below, we’ve highlighted a list of famous people who’ve shed some pounds.

1. Adele


Adele hasn’t revealed much about her weight loss journey, but she has hired a personal trainer and she does 60-minute exercises that focus on circuit training, cardio, and Pilates. In an interview, a source close to Adele said, “She really wants to be healthy and set a good example for her son.”

2. Rebel Wilson


Rebel Wilson lost around 60+ pounds by following a particular diet and fitness regime. She hits the gym 6-7 days per week, working on her cardio, HIIT, strength training, and mobility. After she reached her target weight, she believes that when it comes to food, nothing should be forbidden. She claims that she’s “just trying to go for overall balance.”

In 2015, Christina Aguilera lost 50 pounds. She took some time off of her busy schedule and focused on new foods and new ways of working out. One of her sources says, “She does it not for diet or weight, but more for her mind and well-being and overall sense of good health.”

Sam Smith has managed to maintain his 50-pound weight loss since 2015. He used to have unhealthy beliefs about food, but after fixing this issue, he says, “My relationship with food has just completely changed.”

5. Jonah Hill

In 2011, Jonah Hill lost 40 pounds. He was also nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor in the movies The Wolf of the Wall Street and Moneyball. He achieved weight loss by eating a healthier diet of sushi and many other Asian dishes. He also did a martial art based exercise regime which was designed by a trainer.

6. Chris Pratt

You may have noticed a huge difference between Andy Dwyer in Parks and Rec and Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy. He lost 80 pounds by consuming a low-carb, high-protein diet, and by also drinking a lot of water. He leveled up his exercise regime with swimming, running, and boxing. He’s completed a triathlon as well.

7. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian works out for an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes for her lower body. Her trainer says, “You want to work out efficiently and be smart about it.” Kim also consumes a healthy diet She says, “I live a healthy life and try to eat as plant-based as possible and drink sea moss smoothies.”

Mariah Carey tries her best to work out 3 times a week, and rather than going for 3 big meals a day, she consumes multiple smaller meals over the course of the day.

9. Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel began his weight loss journey after Dr. Oz appeared on his show and said he was concerned about the comedian. He started with drinking 2 protein shakes and a small dinner daily for 8 weeks and then he moved on to a 2,000-calorie diet. This helped him lose 25 pounds quickly. And now, Kimmel eats 500 calories 2 days a week (and the rest of the week regularly) to keep in shape.

10. June Shannon

This famous star from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo lost 300 pounds and focuses a lot on portion control. She also tries her best to exercise whenever she can.

11. Zach Galifianakis

Famous for The Hangover, Zach Galifianakis has shed at least 50-60 pounds since 2014. He achieved it by quitting some unhealthy habits and choosing to live a healthier life instead.

Khloe had always been on the chubbier side, but she managed to lose a whopping 40 pounds by taking care of herself. She says, “I decided to turn to fitness as a form of therapy and as a stress reliever.” She also never believed in a quick weight loss regime because it wasn’t sustainable. Instead, she went the normal route of consuming a healthier diet and working out.
