Joker 2 gets superstar casting.
Lady Gaga, now in the middle of her summer stadium tour, The Chromatica Ball, announced she will be taking part in Joker: Folie à Deux with co-star Joaquin Phoenix. This will be the sequel to the 2019 movie, simply titled, Joker, which made 4-time Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix a winner in the category of Best Actor in a Leading Role.
The star confirmed her casting in a short musical teaser posted on both her Instagram and her Twitter. We still don’t know what role she will take on, but the teaser gave us a silhouette of what we can expect.
Fans are speculating about the new character already.
