When you think about a perfect couple, you may picture 2 people whose ages are relatively close. However, things aren’t always like that, and some celebrity couples have proven it by making things work despite their huge age differences.

1. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas — 10 years
The Bollywood star is 10 years older than her husband, who she met at a Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2017 after having texted each other since September 2016. The duo got married in December 2018 and welcomed their first child in January 2021.
In the TV special, Jonas Brothers Family Roast, Priyanka Chopra addressed their age gap by saying, “There are many ’90s pop culture references he doesn’t understand, and I have to explain them to him. He teaches me how to use TikTok, for example, and I teach him what a successful acting career looks like.” Then, she added, “Seriously, I want to talk about how much I love my husband, and one of the things I love about my husband is how much we have in common.”
2. Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman — 13 years
The Hollywood couple met while working on the TV series, Correlli, when Jackman was just starting his acting career. Despite their 13-year age gap, the actor fell for Furness and has confessed that he still recalls the day he met his wife. “My first job out of drama school — it was a massive break for me. I was really scared. Deb, she was a big star. I get picked up, and Deb is in the front seat of the car. I’ll never forget. She took off her seatbelt and she turned around and put out her hand and took off her sunglasses and said, ’Hi, I’m Deborra-lee Furness, nice to meet you.’ I remember thinking, ‘I like this girl,’” he said.

On their last anniversary, Jackman celebrated the occasion by uploading an Instagram photo with the caption, “Today I celebrate 26 years of marriage to my extraordinary wife. Every single day is filled with so much laughter, joy, and backgammon!!!! Deb, you light up my life. I love you with all my heart!”
3. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi — 15 years
The Hollywood duo shares an age difference of 15 years where DeGeneres is the older spouse. The pair met for the first time in 2000, but it took them around 4 years to have a closer relationship. In an interview, de Rossi confessed, “I ran into Ellen at a photo shoot about a year ago and she took my breath away. That had never happened to me in my life. My knees were weak. It was amazing. And it was very hard for me to get her out of my mind after that... we just were kind of supposed to be together... I just couldn’t ignore the feelings I had for Ellen.”
DeGeneres and de Rossi tied the knot in August 2008 after same-sex marriage was made legal in California, and they have been together for over 18 years.

The top model, who is 17 years older than Kaulitz, has been very open about their age gap and once said that the biggest issue in their relationship was not the age difference between them, but what other people said about it. “Lately, I’m being reminded more about my age by people other than myself. My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it. That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face,” she confessed.
Despite this, the 17-year age gap didn’t seem like such a big deal for the couple, as they tied the knot in 2019 and, according to Klum’s most recent posts on social media, they seem to be happily married.

The Lebanese barrister and the Hollywood star share an age difference of 17 years, with George Clooney being the older one in the relationship. The couple met at a dinner party through mutual friends, where there emerged instant sparks between them. After several months of online communication, the pair had their first date together in London, and, in September 2014, they got married in a beautiful ceremony in Venice, Italy.
In an interview, Clooney revealed how much his wife has changed his vision of life. “All I know is that it sort of changed everything in terms of what I thought my future — my personal future — was going to be.
