How to Clean a Bathtub

Dust, rust, soapy traces, and limescale can turn the most beautiful bathtub into a place that you’ll feel sorry to look at. All because an untidy bathtub is far from pleasant.

5-Minute Crafts has several pieces of advice that can help sustain the cleanness of your bathtub and allow you to forget about hard-to-remove stains.

1. Baking soda

You’ll need:

  • A sponge for washing the dishes
  • Baking soda

How to do it:

1. Wet the sponge with warm water and squeeze the excess liquid out.

2. Dip the sponge in baking soda and then run it over the surface of the tub, paying special attention to the drain and under the faucet area.

3. Cleanse the sides of the tub in a circular motion from top to bottom. Squeeze any excess water out of the sponge and reapply baking soda as needed.

4. If some parts of the tub don’t cleanse instantly, apply baking soda to them and leave for some time (approx. 1 hour).

5. Wipe the tub with the sponge again, then rinse off the remaining baking soda with cold water.

✅ You can remove extra stubborn stains with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. Apply the paste for 10 minutes and then rinse with water.

2. Vinegar

You’ll need:
